At some point a couple of weeks ago I started feeling bad about a few things I hadn't gotten around to, which for some reason meant I shouldn't blog or upload anything to flickr, but didn't actually stop me from reading a couple of novels or from obsessively refreshing reddit.
Yesterday I was shopping for books with Amy and she told me she wanted this Salman Rushdie book, Haroun and the Sea of Stories. It's pretty obviously not age appropriate, but I've been getting sick of Disney stories, so I thought I'd give it a try.
The last two nights in a row, I read to Amy from her new big kid book. She says she really likes it and wants me to read it to her every day, but I can tell she's not all that interested. While I was reading tonight I could see her eyeing a Blue's Clues book and a Sesame Street magazine.
